Research profile:
Research interests of L. Rychlik are related to behavioural ecology and evolution of small mammals (mainly shrews), and focused on predator-prey interactions, foraging, territoriality, habitat preferences, maternal care, communication systems, and social organisation. Ongoing studies address the questions of intra- and interspecific competition and niche separation in soricine shrews inhabiting the Białowieża Primeval Forest. L. Rychlik is the author and co-author of 20 scientific papers and articles and supervisor of two MSc theses of Polish students. He has been an Associate Editor of Acta Theriologica.
